This project was carried out by the Curriculum and Media Services Department of Dandenong College of TAFE for the Australian Committee on TAFE Curriculum. It provides a detailed listing of all existing training which is currently being conducted through the skills centres and TAFE colleges network for the plastics and rubber industry.

The courses and programs are arranged into state lists that are each supported by a flow chart illustrating the articulation lines for the programs. They are also grouped into industry streams to identify the scope and level of training provided in each. The document identifies training gaps and lists recommendations on further training development.

Stage 2 of the project will be the development of common core curricula for plastics and rubber vocational training programs at operator and advanced operator level, to conform with skill specifications as defined in the restructured award. Show less
